Stop by Alpine Recreation Center (817 Yale St) today, January 10th and tomorrow, January 11th from 9am to 6pm for activities and resources. For more information, please visit LAParks.org.

Donation drive at Glassell Park District Office (3750 Verdugo Rd), and Fire Recovery Efforts Volunteer List Serv. If you want to participate, they are accepting donations today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Glassell Park District Office. Donations requested: Unused blankets, Pet food, Water bottles, Masks, Power Banks.
Beginning at 10am, Food Distribution at Glassell Park District Office. Bags are available while supplies last.

Education and Youth Committee Applications

Our new Education and Youth Committee is launching this month. We are looking for 2 community stakeholders (aged 14+) to join the committee. Meetings will take place once a month, but we have not finalized the time nor place. The committee will work to involve more young people in the Neighborhood Council and work closely with schools and other groups that serve young people. If you are interested in applying, please contact the Committee Chair, Chloe Rivas via email at chloerivas8@gmail.com.

Applications will be due on 10/8 by 7:30PM. Please return applications to Chloe Rivas or in person at our the 10/8 Governing Board Meeting. The Governing Board will determine the committee membership at the 10/8 Governing Board Meeting which takes place at the Cypress Park Rec Center at 7:30PM.

Aug 17 – Pop-Up Clean-Up
